Tricks, Treats, Costumes, Fire and More

Well the evening started with the typical rush to get the kids and get them home and fed and ready to go. Heath and Peanut got there first and had a load of warm cheesy beany quesadillas and our costumes ready. We tossed everything in the car and got the kids busy putting something beside sugar into their systems. Moments later we were in Brookside putting on the costumes and loading up the wagon with a monkey, soldier and lion.

The shops are Brookside are a nice efficient way to see a lot of good costumes and do some good trick or treating all within a few blocks.

I’m not sure what to say about every picture but we got a lot of good ones. You all know how trick or treating works.

We knocked out all the shops in about an hour and then headed home. Pumpkin had not stopped eating candy since she got her first piece so we had to remove the candy bags.

Once home we still had a lot to do. We got a fire going and set up a driveway hangout.

Rachel, Alex, Stephen, Becky, and AJ came over to celebrate. We had popcorn balls…

We hung out but everyone got tired and had too much sugar and stuff so we called it a night fairly early and got ready for bed.
