I took the night off from taking pictures after the 500 something Christmas shots. Actually for our own Christmas I set the camera on remote and told it not to sleep. Then we could snap one one the fly without moving. It worked really good. Maybe I can do something similar for New Years.

We got our first snow just before our Christmases started and we got to have fun in it.

Thursday morning Heath took the big kids out front to play with the neighbors.

The boys had a lot of fun.

But Pumpkin was not feeling great and was too cold.

Afterwords they did hot chocolate and baked a ton of cookies and stuff.

When I got home from work Peanut was the only one who wanted to go back out with me.

It was pretty cold and windy but Rachel and the dogs joined us.

The snow was not good for packing but not bad for sledding we made it all the way down the yard and around to the back corner several times.

Friday morning (our Christmas day) the kids slept in late (Pumpkin got 14hrs of sleep that night). Then we did presents first thing and played a bit. Then somehow I was able to get everyone out of the house and into the snowsuits. The best part was Heath’s neon suit and Bean’s inability to move.

First we got a picture

Then it was time to play.

Not sure if she loved it but she didn’t cry or anything.

The snow started getting pretty wet as the sun got it so we headed back inside to play with our new stuff. Fingers crossed we get more snow soon!
