We all got home just a little bit late but dinner was easy. The kids played outside for a bit while Heath and I converted some old turkey burger into Mexican salads and quesadillas. We went through the fridge and finished off the last of most of the veggies. Then we ate.

We had more brownies with whip cream for dessert. After dinner we realized Peanut was supposed to take some boat thing to scouts and scouts started in like 30 minutes. It would have been a lot of fun to spend a few nights sanding, painting and making his boat really cool but we only had Peanut and the boat the night of the race and a night he had soccer practice so we had to just throw it together last minute.

That is the only picture of the boat we got. I guess it floated and the boys had some fun. They put the boats in the rain gutters and then blow them in a race.

Pumpkin and Bean spent a bunch of time soaking in the tub while I cleaned the kitchen and did dishes and got things looking good. Then I got Bean ready and in bed. Pumpkin and I cleaned up the toys in the family room and then popped a bag of popcorn and read a big strange Snow Queen fairy tale book. Then she went to bed.

It’s awesome and light out when the kids get to bed so I grabbed my saw and hit the pile. I’ve been splitting a lot but had run out of rounds so I cut a bunch of big chunks up so I could split them this morning. I worked until it was too dark and then came in. Heath and I did some exercise videos and then played on the computer a few minutes before bed.
