Yes, that is a stilt walker, tied up with fabric juggling.
We had a lot going on last night. I got out a little late and luckily Heath had a lot of dinner ready to go. I just tossed some pork steaks and corn on the grill and put on my swimsuit and then we were ready to eat dinner. Heath’s Grandma was with us. We ate on the deck and then everyone started getting ready. Heath and Jenni had a wine and painting class and the girls had swim lessons.
We got to lessons a few minutes early and the girls and AJ played at the spray-park side.
Lessons started and the kids got in. Bean was cold and got out and I was only able to convince her to get in a few times for a few seconds. So we mostly watched Pumpkin and the other kids. Once lessons were over we went down the slide once and then rushed home. We quickly changed into pajamas, grabbed the wagon and walked down the street.
It looks pretty empty from my pictures but there were actually 3 wagons of kids and around a dozen adults watching. Our neighbors run Moon Drop Circus and when it is warm out they practice the Thursday before First Fridays in their front yard. We saw
unicycle
Fabric on Stilts
juggling on stilts hanging from fabric
spinning hoop thing
fabric, into a cocoon into a butterfly
swinging/spinning from a giant rope
plus lots of acrobatic stuff and there was a band in the garage playing some pretty good and appropriate live music. The kids watched really good and played with the other kids during breaks and all the neighbors hung out and talked.
Obviously we got home late and into bed late. Once the girls were down I got out my list of stuff to pack and get ready for a weekend at the lake. I made some food and made a pile in the garage and got most things ready to go and then got to bed.
At some point Heath and Jenni finished painting these cool birds and came home and went to bed.
