Jolly Jog 2015

Another great run this year. It was probably the warmest run ever getting to about 60F in the afternoon.  We met at our house at 2pm and hung out and had a drink or two before heading to Brookside. We started at Charlie Hoopers with most of the group and then more the group joined us at Brooksider and we got the above picture.

From there we ran to Waldo.

My favorite stop was getting brown bag beers at District pour house.

We got all kinds of good surprise beers served in a brown paper bag and we got to sit outside. Then we ran on into the heart of Waldo for more trouble and more friends.

From there we get a bit fuzzy.

But we worked our way south.

and eventually made it to the house for loads of chili. Eventually the house quieted down and we headed to bed. In the morning the few that were left had some more chili with fried potatoes and eggs.

Once Heath got going we headed out to pick up the girls. My cousin watched them during the run and lives right by the little blue so we went for a hike.

Berry came with us and it was super nice out.

We hiked pretty far for the girls and they had a good time tossing rocks in the water.

Then we hiked back to the truck.

Once home everyone was ready for a lunch and a nap and I had a good time watching football the rest of the day.

Before the run I got the xmas lights up but had a broken strand. Pops and I tried replacing all the bulbs and fuses on it but had to ultimately replace it.

Last night Pops watched the girls and we had date night. We got some sushi

It was lots of fun and so much more peaceful then when kids are around. I think they had lots of fun with Pops while we were gone too.

(picture is a joke of course, kids were not really drinking margaritas)
