The River Adventure

While Jon is a regular character on the blog he almost never visits the
site.

I forwarded this to several of you already but thought I would go ahead
and toss up on the event section for him.

"We need to put together a river
adventure on the island for the 8^th of September. It should be warm
enough still. We need lots of beer, and no women. I am thinking I would want
to go out on the evening of the 7^th, and stay through the
9^th. Activities may include running some lines, drinking, swimming,
cussing, and general acts of brawn.

I think it would be just like last
time where we camp on the back side of the Island by Edwardsville on the
Kansas River, and we could go pick up/take back
pussies that couldn’t stay the whole time, if necessary. I will take care of
the food situation, and most general logistics before the trip.

I would think that we would want at
least three hardy souls (read: stay out the whole time) to embark on such an
epic adventure. More than 4 would be interestingly large for such an event, but
I’m sure it would be a good time as long as no-one behaves like a
woman.
