busy morning

Derrick moved to Oak Grove last night

So Heath and I ate dinner at about 5pm last night then headed over to Russ’ house to help move. We loaded all Derrick’s stuff up into Jakes Dodge Truck, Derricks, Subaru and my Ranger and it all fit fairly easily and did not take long to load. We got some mini convoy action on the way out to Oak Grove.

Unloading the vehicles went even faster and in no time we were looking at pictures of Derrick’s son and heading out the door.

Heath and I hit up the local QT for a 44oz Ice tea and then drove back to KC. I had plans to get some night time work done at work and tricked Heath into doing it on the way home. I got her set up with TV on the computer and then got busy. I was able to knock out all my to do list fairly quick and ended up waiting on Heath to get out and go home.

Once home I was hungry. My lunch was small yesterday and then our dinner had no meat. We had had cheese ravioli, leftover salad and a big pile of veggies (corn, peas, green beans and carrots). So I whipped up a big BBQ chicken sandwich, fries and peas for dinner 2 and then we watched Heroes.

That was it for the night.

It is going to be nice out Today: Abundant sunshine. High 54F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Im going to go ahead and announce it before anyone beats me to it. This was likely the worst post I have done in a while.

Sonic has discontinued $0.99 Route 44’s untill 11:00am

    any other bad news?

Our DVR chopped off the last ten minutes of Heroes.  Luckily, I was able to catch the rest on nbc.com.

. . . came last night when i found out two heroes are going to die . . . oh dear.

i liked your post, and i agree with your theory that every meal has to have meat in it.  i’ve had this discussion with sharon before, but she disagrees.  no meat=unhappy me.

the comment about AH and the baby.

  7. Heather says:

that is my bad news….and all I have is a can of soup!

  8. Heather says:

    Meat is over rated.

  9. Stooks says:

But it can be overrated at times, I agree.  For example, peanut butter is another way to get protein.

  10. thePrewitt says:

You and H should be ashamed of yourselves.  No more peanut butter on smores for you guys, you like it too much.

  11. Ge-off says:

With all the meat you eat, The, you can probably give Heath a pretty mean protein shake.  Since Stooks seems to be around all the time, he might be able to get in on that too.

  12. Stooks says:

    Maybe it was AH.

  13. Ge-off says:

Maybe it was her new puppy?

  14. Heather says:

    you are awful!
