Did you know “Drake” besides being a name also means a male duck? Kelly and Chris went with this for Drake’s birthday and had a big party Saturday night. They put rubber ducks in the pool, made a mini duck cake just for Drake.

Chris even grilled some actual duck (or possibly goose) on kabobs. 
There were lots of people and food.

but we only got a few drops on us. Drake wore his homemade by cousin Rachel birthday hat
and did a good job eating his cake until it slid off the end of the table and I missed catching it.
We sang happy birthday and he opened presents.
I think everyone had a great time, especially the birthday boy.
Of course we ate well this weekend. Grilling with the Anderson’s on Saturday afternoon.

While at the park we did some playing
and the kids had a blast
After Loose Park we stopped by my office for me to work a bit and train a new intern.
We got in a little hike and visit to a nature center at Swope Park.
We also cleaned up around the house saw some friends and put new breaks on the van.
