So my dad came to visit and I was off for 5 days. We were really busy and did a lot of stuff but I’m just going to hit the highlights and show off the best pictures.
Wednesday I grilled a couple beer can chickens and we had a feast.
Pops and Annie helped put the girls to bed.
On the 4th before the day got started we took a few pictures in our red white and blue.
We headed to my uncles farm and checked out an abandoned grave yard.
Bean found a lily
The kids spent an amazing amount of time on the trampoline.
My uncle grilled up some great food.
and I helped
we made 20 lbs of potatoes worth of homemade chips
My brother helped the kids with some fireworks
My grandma came out to see everyone
The ducks did not mind the fireworks at all.
We took pictures of the Prewitts

Peanut loved the fireworks
Pumpkin loved the sparklers
Drake was exhausted but stuck it out.
We all snuggled up on a blanket to watch the big fireworks.

We took it easy most of the next day and looked good doing it.
We spent some time visiting and hanging in the pool and eating grilled duck. The next day we visited the farmstead.
We fed some baby goats
The kids all had fun
Bean really liked the cows
Pumpkin was a manic behind the wheel of a tractor
We also fed the big goats.
Later on we did some shopping then I cooked up a big pork butt and we had tacos and then a little pre-birthday for Peanut.
After pops left we had a normal Sunday. Bike rides
and pool fun
