Between Cheer Camp and Grandma Jenni we have just been getting by this week and not really gotten to any projects or crazy adventures. Last night I had to stay a bit late and Heath was a bit early so when Bean and I got home Heath and the other kids were eating dinner. I had made taco meat in the morning and we all made some burritos/tacos and chowed down.
My mom stopped by to pick up some pictures on her way home during dinner and then it was time for Pumpkin to get ready for camp. Heath took her and a laptop so she could get some work done.
I told Peanut to do his homework and Bean to play and then did my best to ignore them for the next hour or so. I started up an episode of Alaska: The Next Frontier on my cell phone and then hit the chromecast button and it started playing on the tv in my bedroom. I folded 3 baskets of laundry and put them away while I watched the show. I got everything put away and came out just as Peanut finished. I put pajamas on Bean and got her a snack then grabbed a pineapple.
I cut the top and bottom off then cut it into quarters. Then I cut the outside on those and made some more cuts down the middle of them. Peanut sprinkled some brown sugar over them and poured on a little coconut oil.
Then Bean and I read books until Heath and Pumpkin got home. We heard, cheer camp was lots of fun again.
The girls are all ready for the game tonight.
Our dessert was coming along nicely.
I got everyone a bowl and dished in a mix of vanilla and birthday cake flavored ice-cream then pulled out the pineapple.
Then we all got a bowl and dug in.
It was really good but if I did it again I would broil it twice as long. The rest of the night was the regual bed routine, small workout and reading before bed. This morning I got some wood splitting done and then made pancakes with the leftover pineapple. The pancakes were so good w/ the fresh pineapple in them.
