Squashfest

Heath was working late and I picked up the girls and got them a little snack of trail mix and they played good and I got dinner started. I cut a spaghetti squash in half and then cut half that into a few strips and let them bake. Then I cut up a butternut squash, zucchini, sweet potato and some spinach and got it cooking in a pan.

Heath ended up getting done early and joined us. I got jalapenos, onions and mushrooms cooking in a second pan and eventually mixed sauce in with the squash and shreded the speghetti squash in with the rest of everything.

Both girls really like squash but Pumpkin was not interested in this dinner. Bean ate it right up.

After dinner Heath read to the girls a bunch and I cleaned up the kitchen and vacuumed trail mix out of the carpet all over. The girls were ready for an early bedtime so we got them all set then let Pumpkin play a little bit of wii before putting her to bed. Once she was down Heath and I did an arm muscles workout. Then I played some wii Donkey Kong something and Heath talked on the phone and then we both played Kirby on the wii for a while and headed to bed a bit early.
