No we didn’t get chicks but our our PAT lady stopped by to show off hers. The kids thought they were pretty cool.
I’d like to get one if I could keep Berry from eating it.
Anyway so right after work we found a note from a neighbor inviting me to come get a giant oak branch that fell off his tree. I changed and grabbed the saw and went to work while Heath built enchiladas and cooked corn on the cob.
They were just getting busy eating when I got home. After dinner Heath got busy painting.
I got the kids busy painting too.
It was a lot of work keeping everyone in painting supplies and I didn’t actually do any painting just running around trying to keep everyone happy.
Eventually I put a grumpy Bean in the sink and cleaned her off and got her in bed. Heath finished up her fireplace trim then got the other kids in bed.
Then I was able to get to work.
I had a lot of filled in nail holes to touch up and once done I started painting some trim we had kind of forgot about. I painted all the unpainted wood around the windows.
And all the doorways around the access to Peanuts room and the basement. It took quite a while and needs another coat but already it looks a lot better.
Once I had a coat down on everything I headed outside for a minute to get some fresh air and unload a truckload of wood from earlier. After that I moved some laundry then showered off and hopped in bed too.
We left the windows open and the attic fan running so it was pretty cool in the house this morning.
