So you may notice all 3 kids are in glasses. Peanut has had his for like 5 years, Bean is just borrowing my favorite sunglasses but Pumpkin now wears real glasses. And she is even more beautiful.
This first year is kind of a test year and she is trying to wear them at school but she is still getting used to them and has them off more often then on.
She had a good day at school yesterday and then last night we took her out for her special birthday dinner. She is not 5 yet but we wanted to do it while Peanut is home and we don’t have 10 other things going on. She wanted a cheeseburger and to play at cool crest for her birthday dinner. We still have vouchers for Cool Crest but she was a bit small for most of the good stuff there so we found another place to try in Liberty called Fun Run.
Actually I found it from a coupon in the little newspaper of them that comes in the mail.
I had to work a bit late for the fundraiser so Heath picked up all the kids and then picked me up on the way. Once in Liberty, we read off a bunch of places that had a burger and Pumpkin picked Freddy’s.
The kids ate pretty good but I was kind of disappointed in the serving size for adults. Luckily for Heath and I the kids sizes were more then adequate and we got to eat half of the girls burgers. After dinner we had ice cream sandwiches.
They were good but froze the kids teeth so they wanted to share again.
5 min down the road was the fun run place. Our coupon got us all in for just under $20. The kids started running right away and didn’t stop for almost 2 hours.
They had 4 big bounce things
an arcade room
a giant wooden town or something
The town had lots of little hidden pathways and access. Heath and I even squeezed ourselves through them.
Plus a lot of other stuff
The kids mostly liked the giant slide.
We stayed until close at 8.
Then we rushed the kids home and got them to bed. Then we got to bed too.
