So I worked that crazy day yesterday. After work I took Berry for a run through the woods. The piles of dead leaves and my sleep schedule made it a pretty tough run. Then I ate some lunch and took a nap. After my nap Heath and the kids came home in a rush. Pumpkin needed a break and stayed home with me to relax. Heath took the other two to a trunk or treat.
They met up there with Olive and her folks.
I don’t have a lot of details here but they went around to a bunch of cars in a circle and collected candy.
Sweet sweet candy.
They also played some games and stuff.
When they got home we were all ready for dinner. We ate and then cleared off the table and got out the pumpkins.
The kids did sketches of what they wanted to do with their pumpkins. I cut off the tops and got busy cleaning them out.
Then Heath, Peanut and I began cutting.
Yeah, I tried using this electric drywall cutting thing instead of a knife. I have mixed feelings on it. It did not cut quite deep enough, it turned the area it touched into mush but it did curves a lot easier then the knife and it was fast.
All 3 turned out really good.
So we moved them outside and lit them up.
Peanut, Pumpkin, Bean
The Royals game started during the carving. Heath got the girls in bed while Peanut and I cleaned up then we all watched the game. Peanut and I crashed when the Royals had a giant lead and we got tired.
