Last night we made an Aldi run and then had Rachel, Alex and Helen over for dinner. We made hummus and salad and bought some great gyros and they brought this sweet pear tart.
We watched the Royals and hung out. Then today at work w/ next to no notice we were offered power and internet on the field at the K. We grabbed some gear and rushed down.
We literally did a broadcast from 3 folding chairs on the field.
We got inside the stadium right when they opened the gates and let in all the fans. I was impressed how many showed up. We guessed like 5-6,000.
The royals put on a great program, thanking everyone and celebrating the season.
The fans were going crazy the whole time chanting “Thank You Royals”. Then the players came out.
I got to run right over to them.

The show host was back at the studio talking to him about the season. Then we packed up and headed back to work.
