Last night Stephen and Becky watched the kids and Heath and I had date night. We met up at Mike’s for happy hour specials and then went home to enjoy a nice beer.
We decided to drink the 2011 and save the 2014. It was really good. We had another 2014 a few weeks ago and think the aged 2011 was better but it’s hard to say. We spent the rest of the night in but had a nice time.
This morning I had a bunch of last minute prep to do for my backpacking trip this weekend. I made 12 mini chicken and bean burritos. 
I wrapped these up and wrapped them in foil and then we can toss them on the fire tonight. I also fried up all that bacon for sandwiches in the morning and made these little peanut butter granola wraps.
Also I’m pretty excited for this trail mix.
While prepping I also fried up the girls some pancakes and a scrambled egg mix for Heath and my breakfast.
I was left with a big pile of gear I’ve been collecting.
So I stuffed most of it in my pack and now I’m ready.
