I’m really pleased with the look and they feel really durable. It did take a lot of coats, we did them 1 per night so it was a bunch of nights from start to finish.
Last week we cooked marshmallows in the fireplace on a cold night.
Peanut crossed over from cub scout to boy scout.
And in the great weather this weekend we fired up the smoker.
and filled it with meat
We also got some dutch ovens going.
Some friends came over
and we had a great time.
The kids and I decided to sleep outside in the tents. It only got down to 54F but felt pretty cool in the morning. It warmed back up and we went to the park after cleaning everything up.
