So the girls are just a bit past their 2nd full month of Karate and they love it.
Pumpkin tested for her white belt already and is working toward yellow now.
Bean is scheduled to test for her white belt.
They work really hard and can go to class as much as 4x per week. On Thursday class is from 5-6pm and we have taken the early hours opportunity to ride bikes home from class.
Our garden has exploded with butternut squash.
That picture is actually weeks old and the vines have grown across the circle drive now. We have also gotten a ton of tomatoes and some peppers.
Peanut and I made a ton of pico
We also had a birthday breakfast in bed for him.
And he got an xbox one
The first phase of the tree house is done
The back of it is about 10ft off the ground and the girls have camped out on the platform. We hope to build on a lot more in the months and years to come.
This summer we tried out getting a worlds and oceans of fun pass for the whole family this year.
We went out quite a few weeknights and found very short lines for the most part. We all had a blast.
We also spent a lot of time in our pool in the backyard.
And yes now school has started and we have a Kindergartner, 2nd Grader and Middle-schooler.
It’s really nice to have the girls at the same school and just down the street and so far they really love their classes and teachers.
Peanut is so busy with soccer, scouts, band and his first season of cross country. He is also the primary goalie on the soccer team now.
My sister got to come to town for a few days
And we packed in a ton of family gatherings and fun activities while she was here. She even caught a fish
My favorite was going for an hour long run with her early one morning.
Last weekend we made it out to Big Lake with Stooks
Saturday we got there with just enough time to hop in the lake a bit before dark.
Then we warmed up by a fire.
In the morning we made a big breakfast while it rained.
We watched a movie while waiting out the rain.
Then we checked and it was not raining,
so we got on the boat.
and went for some rides in the tube.
In the afternoon we rushed off to a Grants soccer game and left the lake.
