I got to do a little catching up. Tuesday night we carved pumpkins, Wednesday night we worked on random things around the house while Heath was in class and Thursday was Halloween.
It was good football practice was called off Tuesday because it took us all night to get the pumpkins carved. First we designed how we wanted them.
Then we cut out the tops.
Scooped out the seeds and slop.
Then drew our cuts on and started cutting them out.
We had Bean paint her pumpkin instead.
They turned out great.
Peanut looked up some sort of Star Wars language and translated his name and carved it into that pumpkin on the right.
Nothing much to report on from Wednesday.
Thursday we went to the shops at Brookside with some friends.
We put the kids in wagons and pulled them from shop to shop.
They got tons of candy and had a lot of fun.
It was so nice out we had a lot of fun too
But as the night went on it got really crowded.
So once we hit all the shops and a few houses we got out of there.
We all went to Chelly’s for some drinks and Mexican food. It was a great Halloween.
