The Sanders spent this week camping out at Hillsdale Lake and Wednesday night we decided to join them.
It was pretty great. It was sunny but nice and cool out and we nearly had the place to ourselves. The kids had a blast running around all over the place.
Going after work, it was dinner time when we arrived and we made some great food.
After dinner we walked to the beach and playground.
Then we came back and put all the girls to bed and had a few beers by the fire.
Jon and I got up early and went to work in the morning.
But the moms and girls stayed and cooked a big breakfast and played around the site some more. They even took the girls swimming.
They packed up our part of the campsite and came home. Our girls went to play with AJ and Heath and I went out for date night. We parked the truck on the trolly trail and jogged our way over to Restore and then got a drink at the Bier Co.
We jogged from there to a Mexican place called Paparicos for some burritos on a Groupon. Then we eased our way back over to the truck and drove home. On the way we got a big beer and shared it on the deck while waiting for the kids to come home.
