Alright lets catch up. Check out this grill of kabobs we had with Mike and Julie.
They were great.
Another night I ran the shop vac in reverse in the tub and made some serious bubbles.
We went to the park with the Dwyers.
And then got some skyscrapers.
Heath and Grant toured the capital building in Topeka.
Then she went off to tour wineries all weekend.
The girls and I grabbed some taco bell after school and work, loaded the trailer and bike up and rode to the park.
It was a good ride but they are getting a bit big for the trailer. We had a good time at the park.
And a not so great picnic after.
It was a nice ride back as well.
We probably got within 5 feet of some deer. It was after 8 when we got home and we were all pretty beat. We read a bunch of books and went to bed.
We all slept in the next morning. I was surprised it was not raining so after breakfast we headed outside and I got busy digging.
The girls played and moved dirt to make a nice place for he new pavers.
Then it started raining and we headed inside. The Sanders came over and the kids all played while Jon did an inspection on a house down the street and I did some cleaning and work around the house. When Jon came back we had the girls cook lunch. They made waffles, chicken nuggets and potato cakes, all in the waffle and quesadilla makers.
After lunch the girls all took naps and Jon and I put together our new kegerator and connected it to our latest homebrew a Irish Red Ale. Once the kids were up we headed out in the light rain and mud and Jon and I got a lot more digging done and most of the pavers laid. They ended up spending the night and the girls played all day. The beer takes 3 days to carbonate but once the kids were alseep we went ahead and tried it out and it was pretty good.
In the morning we cleaned up everything, ate breakfast and then I took the girls to Monkey Biziness to play with cousin Drake.
It was a lot of fun but made us hungry.
So we left and got some Mexican food but that made us tired. So we went home and all took good long naps. After naps I took the girls to the school up the street and we practiced bike ridding. Pumpkin really wants to get rid of her training wheels and we worked on it a bunch.
I got exhausted running around helping to keep her from crashing so we headed back. The girls played bikes some more and I got the lawn mowed then dinner made. Heath got home and we ate then all got cleaned up and ready for bed.
