Actually she does more spinning around in circles then jumping but it's still fun.
After work Stephen came over right away and we got busy on our fish tank.
It was not as bad as it is in this picture but the water was pretty dirty from all the waste collecting at the bottom of our tank. Stephen has a vacuum thing that we hooked up to the sink then ran all along the bottom of the tank sucking up nearly black water as all the yucky stuff left left the tank. We took about 20 gallons out of the 55 gallon tank and then filled it with fresh clean water. All the commotion made the water a little cloudy but the new filters quickly took care of that and the tank was looking great this morning.
I took a video last night of the fish screwing around after the refill.
There are 4 of the black and white striped Convicts, 2 of the big plecostomus (sucker fish) and 1 little green terror.
Heath and Izzy came home as we were finishing up and inspected our work. Then Stephen and I moved an old TV from our garage to their bedroom.
Once that was done Heath and I started working on dessert. We planned to eat at the neighbors across the street and were in charge of dessert. Heath wanted to make a box of brownies but I thought that was boring so instead we made rice crispy treats, only we had no rice crispes. We did have cocoa peanut butter Spheres and some corn flakes though.

So we mixed the cereals and added a bunch of marshmallows and butter then put it in a pan. For an extra treat Heath covered the top with red icing.

After the dessert was ready Heath fed Izzy and I got busy making chili. Heath's work is having a chili cook off to benefit charity or something and we decided to enter. I think first place gets $50 and second gets $20. I did not go all out with pulled pork in it but I did put a pound of sage pork sausage, a pound of hamburger, 1/2 a lbs of kielbasa sausage, 1 can of corn, 1 can of rotel, 2 cans of black beans, 1 can of kidney beans, 1 can of chili beans and a handful of chopped onions and green peppers.
Once it was all together we stuck it in the fridge and headed across the street.
Our neighbors were just finishing up dinner and I had a Red Stripe while they set the table with steak fajitas. We all gobbled up the tasty fajitas, beans, salsa, guak and chips. After dinner we hung out and talked for a while and Izzy fell asleep on my lap watching Bee Movie.

We headed home and got her and us ready for bed. The fire was rocking and I got it built up big for the night and we got Izzy in pajamas and the trash out and set alarms for getting the chili started at 3:30am. then we got to bed a little early to try to make up for the late night before and the middle of the night chili cooking.
