everyone can come back outside

After work was a little frantic. I gave a coworker a ride to get their car and then rushed home to get the dog carrier in the truck and pack everything we would need for a hike. I got a call from Heath that she was running late at work so I rushed over and got Izzy picked  up from the sitter then got her ready for a hike. When Heath got home she got ready and fed Izzy then we headed out. We were planning to go to minor park and hike on the trail but decided last minute it would be too muddy and to go to the trolley trail instead. We got started at 85th and put Izzy in the front pack inside my jacket and set a fast pace.

We hiked down to 75th in about 20 minutes then decided to turn around before it got dark and cold.

We hiked back pretty far and for most of the walk Izzy looked around and around taking in all the new stuff. This was a little much for her though and before we got back to the car she crashed.

She was out cold and slept for part of the hike and slept though us getting her in the car seat and going home and bringing her into the house. Once home we checked on the lasagna we had stuck in the toaster oven and decided to add some cheese and let it warm up a little more.

While it was cooking I took a shower and Heath warmed up some peas then we ate dinner. Izzy woke up near the end of dinner and needed to eat herself. We spent a while playing and feeding Izzy and trying to keep her in a good mood.

Heath played the monster game with Izzy and Izzy started growling and pulling Heath toward her. It was pretty funny.

We got Izzy in her pajamas and then I showed Windows movie maker to Heath and we stuck some pictures and videos together with some audio.
Izzy got cranky so we put her to bed. We played some more on the computer and Heath went crazy watching the baby special office and then we got ready for bed.
