We are safe and sound in San Diego at Brother John’s house. We got in at about 4am last night and slept till 9am this morning. Sprint was terrible at uploading pictures to smugmug but now I am on his wifi and they are going up better. I’ll do some organizing and then fill in the posts below I coppied from word. Yesterday we woke up at 5 and went to watch sun rise at Grand Canyon then played at the camsite a while then went back to grand canyon but could not see through a thick fog and it was raining pretty good. Instead of fighting the weather we drove to Vegas and toured the hover dam, visited Lucy, ate a ton at a buffet and drove the strip and watched the waterfall show at the Belagio then headed to San Diego. Well I gota get ready for In and Out burger and the beach. I hope to get some free time soon and fix some picture stuff soon.

It’s about 5:30pm and we are in Holbrook, AZ. We had a great day at the petrified forest and the first long drive went really well. We left KC at 6:30pm central and got gas a couple times then stopped at like 7am mountain time in New Mexico a couple miles from Arizona for breakfast at Denny’s. We got to the Petrified forest at like 7:30 am pacific time. We got a map, watched an instuctional video, changed shoes and then hit the park hard. We went to about every view point and hike the majority of the trails. We got some great pictures too.  At about 2:30 in the afternoon we called it a day and came into Holbrook to get our hotel room and then a ton of Mexican food and showers. Besides uploading pictures to smugmug, tonight we plan to get some ice cream, sip a bit of wine and be in bed by 7.

This is a Little Disapointing though.
